Dr. Roop Kumari (Dr. Roopa), Founder & Managing Director of CARAH Women Foundation, received the “Women Leader of the Year – Public Health” Award at the 2026 Women of Substance Awards in New Delhi, presented by the Women of Substance Network with She Inspire Magazine and Hypedge on International Women’s Day (8 March 2026).
This recognition celebrates over three decades of leadership in malaria elimination, vector-borne disease control, and global public health.
